"Snowy"

We had our first snowfall today. It was actually unexpected and the roads got pretty messy. We had to find gloves and boots and managed to get outside for a little bit. Landon didn't make it very long - he looked like Ralphie from A Christmas Story. Jaron and Daddy built a quick snowman which Jaron named Snowy. We are not looking forward to this winter!

Land Clearing - Phase I

We started to clear our land this weekend. Our cousin, Brandon, is actually going to cut down all of the trees. We are going to help out whenever we can so you'll know where to find us every weekend from now until February! We got to finally try out our new saw! We can't wait for Poppa to get a chance to use it (ha,ha). There will be lots more pictures in the weeks to come of all of the "lumberjacks" helping out. Anyone interested in helping out or just watching a bonfire, feel free to make the trip some weekend!

Uncle Carl's babysitting adventure

Uncle Carl babysat both boys this weekend for the first time without any help. Ron and I met with a builder - yes, our house plans are finally finished! We also tried a neighborhood teenager yesterday to babysit for 4 hours while Ron and I started our Christmas shopping. The boys did well with Brianna so hopefully she will be willing to come back again. I was too nervous and we were in too much of a hurry to come home so I actually forgot to take a picture of that one!

SHARING

The last several weeks Jaron and Landon have been trying their best to love each other and share things. It is definitely hard work for each of them. One minute they are yelling "mine" or "move" and the next they are sharing so sweetly with each other. The joys of boys!

Safe Trick-or-Treat

The boys were wonderful for trick-or-treat night. We had safe trick-or-trick in downtown Pottsville again this year from 4-6 pm. The boys walked the entire length of the town and back. We couldn't believe it! They had so much fun looking at all the other kid's costumes! Then we went in the wagon for 2 blocks in our development from 6-7 and then back to our house from 7-8 to let trick-or-treaters in. It was a fun packed evening with lots of treats!
