Computer pro

Jaron impressed Mommy lastnight when he went on the computer and was able to look at our blog all by himself. He is able to scroll, click and enlarge pictures, and click "back" to get to his original screen. Daddy has been teaching him and he is learning quickly. Hopefully, Jaron will soon be able to teach Mommy a few tricks!

Bloomsburg Fair

We made our annual trip to the Bloomsburg Fair today. It was unseasonably hot. The boys had fun looking at all the animals and eating all the food. We caught Jaron feeding Landon his pumpkin ice cream. When Jaron stopped, Landon would pull on his arm for more. They both fell asleep after we wore them out. Jaron had his second swimming lesson tonight. He is getting more comfortable each week in the water.

Asparagus

Landon is loving table foods. He had his first Cheerio's at Nanna and Poppa's over the weekend and Monday night he devoured his asparagus.

Nanna and Poppa's house

We took a last minute trip this weekend to Nanna and Poppa's house. We got to go out to dinner with Adam for his 13th birthday. Jaron played lots of cars, trucks and little people at Nanna and Poppa's. He finally went on a swing by himself! Landon got lots of attention. When we got home, Landon moved his arm forward with his leg so I guess we have to consider that to be his first time crawling. Of course, we couldn't get him to do it again! If anyone can, it will be Jaron or Applejuice (his 2 best buds)

Last Days of Summer

We made one last trip to Knoebel's on Saturday and Jaron finally got to see the park at night (usually we go during the day). Each time we go there, he ventures on more and more adult rides. He took Mommy on the tilt-a-whirl and boy did we "crack up". Mommy forgot how much fun that ride is! Hopefully, we will be able to spend as much time outside as possible these next few days. Fall and winter will be here before we know it! Jaron is enjoying Landon more and more each day. He shares all of his toys with him and is having fun now that Landon can do more. He finally has someone to ride in his wagon with! It's so much fun watching them giggle, hug and kiss! Landon got his 4th tooth on Friday. He now has both top eye teeth coming in. Maybe we should get him a Dracula costume for Halloween!

Our Vacation

Mom and I took a vacation in celebration of her 50th birthday this year. We left on Saturday morning and flew into Las Vegas. There we rented a car and drove to the Grand Canyon. The canyon was as awe-inspiring as it was when I saw it 4 years ago! I could go there every year and never get enough of it! As soon as we got there, we saw a huge elk which I thought was fake until it got up when Mom was walking towards it to get her picture taken. We also saw a mule deer.

Grand Canyon

Our second day at the canyon, we woke up at 4:30 am to see the sunrise. We hit all the lookout points along the top of the rim. We walked around the village and then ventured partially down into the canyon by way of the Bright Angel Trail. Mom made it back up no problem! We couldn't have asked for better weather to see such a breathtaking place!

Las Vegas

We left the Grand Canyon on Monday and drove to Vegas in our Sebring convertible. That is the last convertible ride I think we'll both take. It took us 2 days to get the knots out of our hair! We met up with Peggy and Randy everyday for dinner, gambling, and drinks. One night, they took us to Fremont street which was neat. We got to see all the highlights of Vegas and did plenty of gambling. I even tried the Blackjack table (too bad I wasn't a winner!) Thanks again Peggy and Randy!

The Circus

Daddy and the boys did well while Mommy was away. They visited Grandparents, got a haircut, and had fun when Nanna came to watch them. They even went to the circus with Nanna and Uncle Carl. Jaron and Landon got to see Spiderman, clowns and elephants. Jaron rode on a pony and had fun with his lightstick and Spiderman balloon.
