Lake Tobias

We made our 3rd annual trip to Lake Tobias early this year to beat the heat. Unfortunately, we didn't have the weather it was calling for and it was raining and only in the 50's. It was nice that there weren't a lot of people there but that also meant that the animals were hungry...so when we went into the petting zoo, we were attacked by about 25 goats, sheep and lama. It didn't take Landon long to start crying "they eat me!". We were full of mud from the animals climbing on our chests trying to get food! The safari bus tour was great and Landon overcame his fears and fed the huge red deer, antelope, bison and steer. Afterwards, the kids played on the 3 different playground areas and got themselves hungry for Dairy Queen on the way home.
